Here’s What You Missed . . .
This Easter weekend KISS Tribute Cold Gin lit up the stage at Padonia Ale House. Mysterious and oddly sexy, KISS was always mesmerizing to watch and Cold Gin KISS Tribute executes this vibe well. If your’e not a KISS fan take note, these guys play good old rock n roll, just with fire.
Yeah, real fire and fireworks just feet away from the bar. This is awesome.(don’t worry its not as dangerous as it sounds, they have a “fire” roadie to put it out). We are most impressed with the great musicianship of this tribute, the lead guitar is rip-roaring, the drum solo was cool and the blood-letting . . . suitable for all ages at the bar.
The real KISS band did not get much respect in some corners of the music world. They were only inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame a year ago; a full 14 years after they were eligible. Cold Gin reminds us that these guys did have something special to offer the music scene. This tribute has something for both types of live music lovers: the diehard KISS fans on the one hand and the “I never got into KISS” folks as well.
If you missed it, check their site for more show dates – they don’t play all that often – in the meantime, wev’e got pics and video for you below.
