What You Missed Last Weekend: King of the Long Jam, Slim Jimmy Plays the Coon Club

Here’s What You Missed . . .

For Saint Paddy’s Day weekend CCL went to Carroll County’s best kept secret nestled in the valley between Westminster and Hampstead; The Coon Club. This little place beside the Aspen Run serves up tasty barbeque and great live music on Saturday nights, no rifle or membership required.

Last Saturday the Club hosted classic rock specialists Slim Jimmy. This band is king of the long jam and they do it well with the unassuming “Jimmy” Hoddinott ripping up the lead guitar. Cheers to the gentlemen wearing that awesome kilt who danced all night. You rock.

In case you missed the kilts and the guitar solos, we have pics and video for you. Next weekend, check the calendar and get out and see some live music in person!

Next Saturday at The Coon Club: Problem Child!
