All dressed up and nowhere to go for live music on Halloween?? Here are some local Halloween bashes all around the area.
Mantrum will preside over the Halloween Bash and costume party at Stables Restaurant with a “spooky” mix of classic and contemporary rock. The big question is of course, will they be coming as the characters in their Photoshopped pic?
Try the Westminster VFW for “Burning Blues” rock and roll by Doc Rodgers and the Roc Dodgers band. There will be a charity event and Halloween costume contest starting at 8pm. Its open to the public.
Adult vampires and vixens will want to be at Champions in Frederick for the Reagan Years costume contest and giveaway. These guys are known to inspire conga lines with their dead-on eighties set list and a conga line with zombies, axe murderers and dead presidents etc. is worth the trip.
An Poitin Stil; or “The Stil” if you’re a regular- will host a Halloween dance party with The Uncommitted. They are a party / dance band, so wear comfortable shoes. Get there early, we hear the place is always packed for these guys.
Looking for something different? How about Halloween at an old brewery on the nation’s most haunted civil war battlefield? Still too lame? What if it included live music by The Schizophrenics and live fire eating and dancing by the Pyrotechnotics? Yea, we thought that would intrigue. Adult pyromaniacs make your way to Battlefield Brew Works in Gettysburg this Halloween.
